Solid result for Kox Racing in 6H Estoril
Nico Pronk and Peter Kox finished 6th in last weekends 6H of Estoril in the french V de V Championship.
The race started behind the safety car in treacherous conditions. Nico took the start and immediately settled in double stinting, resulting in being in the car for more then two hours!
Peter was one of the first to take on slick tyres, with a drying track, resulting in a quick spin on the outlap!
He also stayed in the car for a double stint and had to serve a 40 sec stop and go penalty for speeding in the pitlane, this in combination with some unfortunate safety car interventions resulted in 6th place at the finish.
However they took fastest lap in the race, showing although it was only the second outing for the new established team, they had the pace.
The next event Kox Racing will compete will be the inaugural 24H Proto Series race in Dubai in Januari 2017
