Extensive coverage including live TV and streaming for Hankook 12H ZANDVOORT

GENNEP (29 April 2015) – Following the success of the live broadcast on Motors TV during this year’s Hankook 24H DUBAI, the opening round of the 24H SERIES powered by Hankook, Motors TV will also be airing most of the Hankook 12H ZANDVOORT (29-30 May, 2015). The first part of the race will be broadcast live on Friday, 29 May, from 15.30 till 19.00 hrs, including pre-race preparations and the starting grid procedures plus the full three hours of racing scheduled for the Friday. On Saturday, Motors TV will provide live coverage from Zandvoort from 8.15 till 11.25 hrs including the starting grid and the restart of the race, and from 12.25 till 17.55 hrs, all the way to the chequered flag. Additionally, live streaming can be seen throughout the event on the official series’ website at www.24hseries.com and on the series’ Youtube channel. The expert team from Radiolemans.com will be on site to provide live commentary.

“With over 60 teams already on the provisional entry list, interest for the Hankook 12H ZANDVOORT is overwhelming,” says Natasha Mark on behalf of CREVENTIC. The Dutch agency is the promoter and organiser of the 24H SERIES powered by Hankook in co-operation with the Dutch National Racing Team (DNRT). “Last year, the inaugural event was a great success and most of the teams that raced at Zandvoort at the time will be back, plus many new teams that are keen on being part of this great race, too. Zandvoort is considered as a real drivers’ circuit with fast and challenging corners and plenty of undulation. Its unique location on the North Sea coast and the long heritage of the track add to the prestige, too. With the extensive media coverage we have now in place for the race, including the live broadcasts on Motors TV and the live streaming, the race will become even more popular.” Next to the live broadcasts, there will also be a 48 minutes’ review of the race, including all the highlights of the event, to be broadcast at a later stage.

Onboard footage is always a spectacular element in broadcast of motorsport events. Therefore, numerous onboard cameras will be installed in cars participating in the Hankook 12H ZANDVOORT to provide a view of the action from a driver’s perspective. Teams who want an onboard camera installed in their car for the Hankook 12H ZANDVOORT can order one from the organisers of the race.
