Blancpain GT Series test days at Paul Ricard
After an unusual long time not sitting in a GT car Peter was back in action for Reiter Engineering at the BOP(balance of performance) and first official test days for the Blancpain GT Series.
The first day was scheduled for the manufactures who had new or updated cars to do their balance of performance checks.
Reiter Engineering had made evolutions to both their cars, the Lamborghini Gallardo and the mighty Camaro.
Kox drove the new Gallardo R-EX as Tomas Enge took driving duties in the Camaro GT3.
That out of the way during the first day, there were two more days scheduled for 'normal' testing for competitors of as well as the Blancpain Endurance and Sprint Series.
On the first day Kox put the Reiter Gallardo on top spot in the morning session and remained there for the entire day, in fact the time was good enough to be overall fastest over the two days!
Enge posted a time that put him sixth on the leaderboard.
The next day Tomas even went faster with the Camaro to put it P3.
A remarkable result two, completely different, Reiter engineered cars in the top 5!
This rounded of a very successful test for the team.
Times are busy now for Reiter as next week is the second Blancpain GT Series test at Misano, as at the same time there is the BOP test at Oschersleben.
